Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete the data associated with PlayMENA games. It currently applies to Hexa Puzzle and will cover future PlayMENA games as they are released.
1. What Data We Hold
Our games can be played anonymously, without creating an account. You may optionally connect with Facebook to save and sync your progress (Apple and Google sign-in may be added later). Depending on how you play, we may hold:
- Game progress & player profile: stored on our game backend, Microsoft PlayFab, on servers operated by Microsoft — not only on your device. Even when you play anonymously, a PlayFab player record is created and identified by an anonymous device identifier.
- Advertising & analytics data: your device advertising ID and usage/crash data collected through Google AdMob and Google Firebase / Google Analytics.
- Connected-account data (only if you link Facebook): when you connect Facebook, your PlayFab progress is linked to your Facebook account so you can play across multiple devices and restore your data after reinstalling. We receive basic profile information from Facebook (such as your name and Facebook account identifier).
2. Delete It Yourself
You can manage some data on your own at any time:
- Disconnect Facebook: if you linked Facebook, disconnect it from within the game. You can also remove the app's access from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings.
- Reset your advertising ID: in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking) to limit ad tracking.
Important: because your progress is stored on our servers (PlayFab), uninstalling the game does not delete it. To remove your server-side data, send us a deletion request as described below.
3. Request a Full Deletion
To request deletion of any data we hold about you — including Facebook-linked progress and analytics data — email us at playmena.labs@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- The game name (e.g. Hexa Puzzle);
- Whether you played anonymously or connected with Facebook;
- If you connected Facebook, the name on your Facebook account (and, if possible, send the request from the email linked to that account);
- If you played anonymously, your Player ID if the game shows one (usually in the game's settings or "about" screen), so we can find the right record.
We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.
4. What We Delete & Retain
Upon a verified request, we delete your PlayFab player record (your game progress and profile), unlink any connected Facebook account, and disassociate analytics data tied to your identifiers. We may retain limited information where required by law, for fraud prevention, or in routine backups, which are overwritten on a rolling basis. Anonymous, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
